  Planning a travel with family almost after 1.3 years of hibernating at home. Covid has almost cut on all our travel plans for almost a year. Wanted to start with a short visit some where closer to home, some where warm and just simply relax. Not suited us better than Monterey.  One of the observation during my travel was this is a location very less visited by North and South Asians. My guess is it could be because they prefer more colder places than the warn and sunny beaches. The best of the trip to Monterey was the Point lobos state park trail walk and the Carmel Beach. Plan a full days visit to both these places. Try to reach as early as 8:00 am to Point lobos to getting a fine parking place with in the park.
